Paper marbling is an ancient method of aqueous surface design which can produce very interesting patterns.
Oil-based colours are floated in a shallow marbling tray and designs are created with a wooden stick using a kind of painting technique.
Each sheet is carefully lowered into this tray and the pattern transfers on to the paper.
The sheets are then hung up to dry naturally.
Every sheet in our collection is individually hand marbled by our skilled artisans, making them truly unique. They are not digitally mass-produced.
Our complementing greeting cards are marbled on luxurious tree-free 250gsm cotton cardstock and accompanied by a luxury peel and seal envelope which is hand marbled in the matching design on the reverse for understated appeal.
The card can be easily framed to become a beautiful ornament or keepsake.
