Giving and gifting has always been a celebrated occasion in my life... And I like to do it in style!

 

I like choosing the right kind of paper, ribbon and accessories to adorn every present that I give, no matter how small... And I enjoy it!

 

My attention to detail and personal touch in gift wrapping has put smiles on many faces and that is my biggest reward. I truly believe that putting in that little bit extra thought and effort transforms even the simplest gift into something very special.

 

I am a qualified textile designer and I've always been intrigued by ancient textile processes such as block printing and tie & dye where design and colours come together to create stunning patterns. I grew up in Mumbai (India) and worked in the textile industry in the early part of my career. Since moving to the UK over 10 years ago, I've diversified into garments, costume jewellery and being a stay at home mum; but my love for designing never ceased.

 

My passion for wrapping and background in textiles gave birth to Paper Mirchi. My aim is to produce high quality gift wrap that is unusual and beautiful, yet affordable. It's still early days, but I can see my dream come true.

 

Mum to two beautiful boys and a very supportive husband, I also love cooking and entertaining. And when I'm not thinking about paper, I'm listening to Bollywood music or watching a film.
